Hedera commonly called ivy plant, the evergreen, woody-stemmed plants are often seen trailing across yards and gardens, climbing walls, or encouraged as climbers along a supporting pole inside homes for a beautiful and decorative houseplant accent. On level ground they remain creeping not exceeding 5-20cm H but on suitable services for climbing including trees natural rock outcrops or man made structures such as quarry rock faces or built masonry and wooden structures, they can climb to at least 30m above the ground.
Plant care Conditions
Sun Light: The plant needs bright yet indirect sunlight. Bright winter light also.
Soil: Plant Hedera in a well-drained, rich and organic soil.
Water: Water the plants freely during growth. They prefer moist, humid conditions but not soaking. Don't let soil dry out and keep evenly moist.
Fertilizer: During growing season feed with controlled release fertilizer or biweekly with weak liquid fertilizer.
Temperature: Cooler temperatures ranging from 10-21degree Celsius is preferable
Pruning: Keep pruning the plant to promote its overall growth.
